Gateron Banana Smoothie is a heavy tactile mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that determines feedback and sound. Its firmer bump provides pronounced physical confirmation without a click mechanism.

Key materials are POM stem, POM top housing, POM bottom housing. Specifications include 60 gf operating force, 2 mm pre-travel, 3.6 mm total travel, dual-stage spring. The switch is factory-lubed for more consistent movement. Its heavy tactile feedback is pronounced but click-free, and the light guide can be removed.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.
