Description

Gateron Milky Yellow is a linear mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that determines how a key feels and sounds. Its uninterrupted travel has no tactile bump or click, making it suitable for gaming, typing, and custom keyboard builds.

Specifications include 50 cN operating force, 4 mm total travel. It is a balanced option with medium resistance and classic MX travel.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.

I like them

Very linear switches, pleasant to press. I haven't tried lubing them yet, but I will in the future because to me they're a bit noisy compared to Gateron Milky Yellow Pro Black Bottom.

This is my first mechanical keyboard. These switches are very quiet and smooth. I recommend them to anyone who wants a silent keyboard.

Cheap but good

Well worth the price, they are comparable to Gateron Oil Kings which are twice as expensive, though I recommend lubing them, otherwise they are very good. Recommend if you are on a budget.

I've had these switches for quite a while and I highly recommend them! They are extremely good beginner switches, but I recommend Krytox 205g0 lubricant and Durock 0.3mm films to get the most out of them, because they are really great! Highly recommended!
