Description

Outemu Red is a linear mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that determines how a key feels and sounds. Its uninterrupted travel has no tactile bump or click, making it suitable for gaming, typing, and custom keyboard builds.

Specifications include 4 mm total travel, 50 g spring. Its 50 g spring provides a light, predictable press for mixed use.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 3-pin MX switches. Sold individually.

Very happy for gaming, decent for typing

I installed these switches on a T-Dagger Bali keyboard that originally had blue switches. I couldn't stand them anymore because they were extremely noisy. These red switches, on the other hand, are much quieter and smoother to the touch. I highly recommend them! I currently bought 40 switches, and the keyboard has over 80 keys. I installed them on the keys I use frequently for gaming and typing, but I'll order the rest of the switches to fully convert the keyboard to red switches. If you're switching from blue to red, you'll definitely never want to go back to blue.

Best switches ever

Luckily the keyboard didn't get damaged, but I picked up some spare switches just in case :)). Anyway, these switches are really cool since if you spill water on them, nothing happens :)) (don't try it)
