Description

Gateron Chocolate Smoothie is a tactile mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that creates the feel and sound of a press. Its tactile bump provides physical confirmation before bottom-out without the audible click of a clicky switch.

Key materials are POM stem, POM top housing, POM bottom housing. Specifications include 55 gf operating force, 2 mm pre-travel, 3.6 mm total travel, dual-stage spring. The switch is factory-lubed for more consistent movement. Its full-POM construction and removable light guide combine consistent travel with flexible lighting.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.
