Cherry MX1A Brown is a tactile mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that creates the feel and sound of a press. Its tactile bump provides physical confirmation before bottom-out without the audible click of a clicky switch.

Specifications include 45 cN operating force, 55 cN tactile peak bottom-out force, 4 mm total travel. Made in Germany, it delivers tactile feedback without a click and uses Cherry MX Gold Crosspoint contacts.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.
