This model is compatible with 5-pin hotswap keyboards.
Gateron Oil King V2 is a linear mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that determines how a key feels and sounds. Its uninterrupted travel has no tactile bump or click, making it a smooth choice for gaming, typing, and custom keyboard builds.
The switch combines a POM stem, nylon PA66 top housing, and Gateron's black INK bottom housing. It is factory pre-lubed to reduce friction, with a 55 ± 5 gf operating force and 4 mm total travel.
This is a standard contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect switch. Before ordering, check that your keyboard accepts 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.

They feel good, sound good, and I'm glad they snap in firmly and stay stable.
Perfect! Packaging was great, shipping was great, the switches of course are super!
So I ordered a Keychron Q6 with Red PRO switches, and at least 4 of the switches came with failures, so I decided to swap them for something else. From all the ones I tested, Oil King has that really pleasing sound, they are super smooth, a bit hard to press, but pleasing to work on. Please keep in mind that those are black in color, so RGB is less visible through them, but for me that is a plus, I don't want and I don't like a strong RGB with my keyboard as I find that distracting. I would recommend those to anyone who types a lot and who needs a harder to press, lower mispress rate switch with a satisfying thocc sound
