Description

TECSEE Sapphire is a tactile mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that creates the feel and sound of a press. Its tactile bump provides physical confirmation before bottom-out without the audible click of a clicky switch.

Key materials are POM stem, PC blend top housing, PME bottom housing. Specifications include 52 gf operating force, 63.5 gf bottom-out force, 2 mm pre-travel, 3 mm total travel, 63.5 g progressive gold-plated spring. The switch is factory-lubed for more consistent movement. The progressive spring and shortened travel provide concentrated tactile feedback and a firm return.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.
