Description

Gateron INK Black V2 is a linear mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that determines how a key feels and sounds. Its uninterrupted travel has no tactile bump or click, making it suitable for gaming, typing, and custom keyboard builds.

Key materials are POM stem, INK top housing, INK bottom housing. Specifications include 60 gf operating force, 4 mm total travel. Its firmer spring adds control, while the translucent black INK housing defines the V2 construction.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.

Good quality

I really like them. They are quiet, have a pleasant sound, and feel great. I switched from Outemu Red switches, and what surprised me was the difference in the force needed to press them. At first, my fingers actually got tired typing on them, but after a while I got used to it. The good part is that I no longer accidentally press keys like before.

Amazing

If there's one thing you need to do with this switch, it's to lube them, that's all. The switches are quite quiet, have a deep sound, and are very smooth. I recommend them to anyone. Stock they are good, but if you don't want to lube them, I'd get others, like CAP Yellows or Oil Kings.
