Description

Gateron x QwertyKey HE is a linear Hall Effect keyboard switch. Unlike a conventional mechanical switch, it does not close a metal electrical contact; a compatible keyboard tracks the stem through its magnetic field. This can enable adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger when supported by the PCB and firmware.

Developed by QwertyKey with Gateron, the switch is factory pre-lubed and uses a POM stem, PC top housing, and ABS bottom housing. It has a 36 ± 10 gf initial force, 50 ± 10 gf bottom-out force, and 3.5 ± 0.2 mm total travel.

Compatibility is not universal: it requires a Hall Effect PCB with matching magnetic orientation and calibration. It cannot replace a regular mechanical or optical switch. Check your keyboard model before ordering. Sold individually.
