Description

Gateron Optical White is a linear optical keyboard switch—the mechanism beneath each keycap in a compatible optical keyboard. Instead of the metal contacts used by conventional mechanical switches, it uses optical sensing for smooth travel with no tactile bump or click.

Specifications include 35 cN operating force, 2 mm pre-travel, 4 mm total travel. Optical sensing replaces the metal electrical contact and is rated for up to 100 million presses.

Important: it is not compatible with regular mechanical or Hall Effect keyboards. Order only if your keyboard explicitly supports Gateron optical switches. Sold individually.
