Description
Gateron Mini i is a tactile mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that creates the feel and sound of a press. Its tactile bump provides physical confirmation before bottom-out without the audible click of a clicky switch.
Key materials are POM stem, nylon top housing, nylon bottom housing. Specifications include 50 ± 10 gf operating force, 2 ± 0.5 mm pre-travel, 3.4 mm max total travel, 22 mm dual-stage spring. The switch is factory-lubed for more consistent movement. Its tactile profile starts early, while the 22 mm dual-stage spring supports an energetic return.
This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.
