HMX KD200 is a linear mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that determines how a key feels and sounds. Its uninterrupted travel has no tactile bump or click, making it suitable for gaming, typing, and custom keyboard builds.

Key materials are LY stem, PA12 top housing, P2 bottom housing. Specifications include 45 ± 2 gf operating force, 50 ± 2 gf bottom-out force, 2 mm pre-travel, 3.5 ± 0.2 mm total travel, 22 mm KOS single-stage extended spring. The switch is factory-lubed for more consistent movement. Designed by 80Retros, it combines an LY stem with PA12 and P2 housings for controlled travel.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept this MX-style switch. Sold individually.
