Description

HMX Macchiato is a linear mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that determines how a key feels and sounds. Its uninterrupted travel has no tactile bump or click, making it suitable for gaming, typing, and custom keyboard builds.

Key materials are POK long pole stem, PA12 top housing, modified nylon bottom housing. Specifications include 42 gf operating force, 50 gf bottom-out force, 2 mm pre-travel, 4 mm nominal total travel, 20 mm single-stage extended spring. The switch is factory-lubed for more consistent movement. Its POK pole bottoms out on the housing base, contributing to a deeper, clearly defined bottom-out.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept this MX-style switch. Sold individually.

Creamy Macchiato

The product arrived promptly and meets expectations. They sound just like in the recording, feel nice to press, and were easy to install. The only issue I had was that 2-3 switches had bent pins, so I had to check all of them before forcing them into the slots.

Great sound

Great switches, they sound incredible. Only thing is, if you have a 3-pin keyboard, I wouldn't really recommend them because even if you clip the two extra pins, they still won't fit perfectly into the PCB. Other than that, 10/10.

More than you could imagine !!

Some very high-quality switches. They press very easily, a very creamy sound. Recommended for anyone who wants something creamy and quiet at the same time. 10/10
