HMX Egg Yolk is a linear mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that determines how a key feels and sounds. Its uninterrupted travel has no tactile bump or click, making it suitable for gaming, typing, and custom keyboard builds.

Key materials are M2 strengthened PP with S1 pole stem, PC top housing, PA66 + 10% fiberglass bottom housing. Specifications include 43 ± 2 gf operating force, 53 ± 2 gf bottom-out force, 2 mm pre-travel, 3.6 ± 0.2 mm total travel, 22 mm KOS single-stage extended spring. The switch is factory-lubed for more consistent movement. Hybrid Molding separates the stem body from the S1 pole for a crisp bottom-out and controlled rigidity.

This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.
