Description
Keygeek Y2 is a linear mechanical keyboard switch—the component beneath each keycap that determines how a key feels and sounds. Its uninterrupted travel has no tactile bump or click, making it suitable for gaming, typing, and custom keyboard builds.
Key materials are U5 + UPE blend stem, nylon PA12 top housing, nylon PA12 bottom housing. Specifications include 53 gf operating force, 53 gf bottom-out force, 3.6 mm total travel. The switch is factory-lubed for more consistent movement. Its U5 and UPE blend stem uses a Waffle tip for a distinct bottom-out.
This is a contact-based MX switch, not an optical or Hall Effect model. Before ordering, check that your keyboard and PCB accept 5-pin MX switches. Sold individually.
